Kate Moyston is primarily known as a figurative artist.

She weaves symbols into her paintings, subtle hints and clues, sometimes autobiographical, which invites the viewer to explore her paintings and their meanings.

She was recently included in the 2023 National Gallery of Jamaica's The Face Of Us, an open call exhibition and in Due West at National Gallery West, Montego Bay, April 13 - August 9, 2025 and is currently featured in the new show at the National Gallery of Jamaica, Kingston, One Nation, New Symbols, September 28th - March 29th, 2026.
